ABOUT ME
I am the type of person that loves to have fun with whatever I am doing. I love to be around people, whether it's meeting new people or spending time with people I've known for years. I'd rather be face to face than hiding behind the key board. I don't know if that comes from all the sports teams I've been a part of throughout my life, my outgoing personality or the fact that I'm 6'6 and people seem to have no problem approaching me (most times to ask "How tall are you!? Do you play basketball?). Never the less I just find it more rewarding to surround myself with people rather than isolating myrself. That being said I am by no means all play no work, I have been exposed to the work force and taught a strong work ethic from an early age working in a family business since I was 16. I understand the importance of following directions and taking responsibility for the work assigned. I love working on projects and seeing something that started as an idea come to fruition.
I am passionate about finding a career path that excites me and keeps me motivated, where my co-workers feel more like friends than they do co-workers. Another passion of mine is music and I think that passion is where my interest in event planning/marketing stems from. I love the whole process of an event coming to life; physically experiencing something you worked so hard on to create finally unfolds. To me that is more satisfying than watching an email leave your screen with a document attached. I enjoy using the creative side of my brain, I love brainstorming with
co-workers to come up with an idea or concept and then create a plan to execute, which is where my interest in marketing came from. My favorite part of marketing is having the creative freedom to come up with a design, work together with a team to edit it over and over, track its effectiveness through analytics until you have created that perfect product.
Whether it's work or activities outside of work, I put everything I have into every project. Below I have highlighted some accomplishments that may not be your typical resume material, but I'm still just as proud of them. Take a few more scrolls and you can read all about them.
Outside the Resume
Annual Christmas Party
My two friends and I planned and coordinated a formal Christmas party at a local catering hall. The party included a dj, buffet, open bar, and raffles. The party had 85 participants and we were able to raise over $500 to donate to a suicide prevention foundation our friends sister started after he passed away a few weeks before the 1st annual party.

Boston Tree Lighting
I helped promote MAGIC 106.7 at the Boston Tree Lighting, working their tent and interviewing participants about the tree lighting.
Travel Enthusiast
I have visited over 12 different countries and am eager to see more. I backpacked across Europe for 2 months and can honestly say it was the best experience of my life to date. From sailing around Greece to skydiving in the Swiss Alps every moment of that trip was special. I love to try new things and meet new people and I truly believe there is no better way to do just that than by traveling the world.
#Techdrinkup Parties
The first party I helped coordinate was at Hudson Terrace. A party for people in the innovation and tech industry looking to meet like minded people and have some fun while they're at it. I assisted in participant reach out for the party resulting in 1200 respondents and 500+ participants. I worked with the #Techdrinkup team to set up the event, work registration, and oversee that the event ran smoothly. Since then I have helped coordinate many more events including the New York Media Festival this September.
Boston Food Truck Festival
Worked with internal promotions team and outside clients to organize and plan MAGIC 106.7's promotions for the 2013 Boston Food Truck Festival. Also over saw operations at the physical event to make sure everything ran smoothly.
CAPS Annual Golf Outing
On a volunteer basis, I have assisted in the process of planning CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention
Services) Annual Golf Outing. My focus was on the Tesla promotion where they showcased one of
their cars as well as raffled off a test drive.
